Representative Project Experience:
Urban Environment & Sanitation - Ghana
Supervision of financial and institutional components of $81 million drainage, sewerage, solid waste and low income sanitation project in Ghana's 5 largest cities - Accra, Kumasi, Tema, Tamale and Sekondi-Takoradi.
Water & Power Rehabilitation - Sierra Leone
Supervision of financial and institutional components of $47 million rehabilitation of water and power infrastructure. Focus of work was on the development and implementation of financial and institutional reforms for the Guma Valley Water Company serving the capital city of Freetown and the Sierra Leone Water Company serving areas outside of Freetown.
Project Finance
Water Tariffs - Uganda
National water tariff study covering 7 largest cities in the country. Included a detailed review of water demand, analysis of various alternative tariff structures, assessment of financial impact of proposed World Bank funded project, and preparation of financial projections for the water utilities.
Water Supply and Sanitation Improvements - Malawi
Financial evaluation of major water and wastewater management improvement project in Malawi's capital city of Lilongwe. Included an analysis of water and wastewater demands, financial review of existing systems, determination of financial impacts of improved systems on the water utility, and development of recommended financial performance criteria.
